Vegas Family History: 
Leaving a famine stricken Ireland, the then MacVagas family decided to cross the atlantic in 1846, settling down in lower provinces of Canada, and eventually migrated to Maine. 
When they did arrive to the north american continent Samuel MacVagas became one of the original settlers for a tiny town of Tignish, Prince Edward Island.  His brothers followed in his footsteps, becoming mayors and such of different townships across the eastern Canadain coast and across the state of Maine.
Wrestling had not entered part of the Vegas family story until the early 1900's when Decader Vegas first laced up his boots for the local carnivals and new england circuit.
